David Waterman Morse (d. 10/13/1927) built Morse Dock and operated it for a number of years before he sold it to Peoples Wharf Company in 1913.
The Morse Dock was the main ferry station in Port Angeles, WA, during the first decade of the 20th century. It was false fronted building with a large semi-circular shape covering the top middle of the facade. A gable roof was concealed behind the false front. A large sign reading, "Morse Dock" could be seen for some ways as one approached from the south on Laurel Street.
Demolished in 1914.
