Building History

This structure was erected on the site of an original mission, founded in 1857 by Father Eugene Casmir Chirouse (1821-1892) and Father Paul Durieu (1830-1899) of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.

This existing church, completed in 1904, was built after a fire burned down the previous mission in 1902.
