These buildings were built for local leader, William G. Swalwell. In 1893, the First National Bank of Everett and Swalwell and Swalwell occupied first floor storefronts. George J. Sherry, a lawyer occupied offices on the second floor. The three story Swalwell Building had three stories.

Includes the Swalwell Block, Diefenbacher Building, the Weber Building, the Glassberg Building, and the Wuerch Building.

This building grew by accretion over the years 1892-1918.
