Theodore Irwin, Jr., moved to Pasadena, CA, after the death of his father, a wealthy businessman in Oswego, NY. His father left him a substantial fortune, and the younger Irwin, his wife, Molly Hilliard and their two daughters spent it building a new house and life in Pasadena.
