This was one of at least two Colonial Revival houses done for the influential Huff Family by the Beezer Brothers (at this time located in Altoona, PA) in the mid-1890s, one for Lloyd B. Huff, and a possible third for William A. Huff.

George Franklin Huff (1842-1912), was a banker (who founded the Greensburg [PA] Banking Company) and Republican state senator and U.S. congressman from 1885 to 1911.
