This resort, located on Lake Crescent, was located within the Olympic National Park. It offered visitors a variety of accommodations including chalets, lodge rooms, cabins, minimal, log cabins for camping, as well as full hook-up RV sites. The Log Cabin Resort complex replaced the Log Cabin Hotel, erected for a man named Saunders, a Customs Collector from Port Townsend, WA, in 1895. This two-story cedar log hotel burned in 1932; the current resort replaced it 20 years later. It was offered for sale in 07/2007.
