Building History

This restaurant reopened where the first was destroyed by fire on 11/01/1936.

The restaurant was sold after Brandstatter death on ?, but it continued to operate as "Sardi's" well into the 1940s. Thereafter, other restaurants operated at this address.

By 2025, an outlet of the Deja Vu strip club chain operated in the old Sardi's Hollywood location, although its exterior has been greatly altered.

Building Notes

The Horton and Converse Drug Store occupied an eastern storefront of the Sardi's Building in the late 1930s. On the building's west side, the
