Garvanza is part of the Highland Park section of Los Angeles.

This group functioned from before 1909 until 1915; it published an Arts and Crafts journal called, The Arroyo Craftsman; edited by the Pasadena Arts and Crafts advocate, George Wharton James, it lasted one issue in 10/1909.

The Arroyo Guild had its headquarters located across the street from the Judson Studios, a leading Los Angeles producer of art glass.
