Holmes created a French Provincial design for Fisher, one reminiscent of Norman manor houses. A draftsman, Waldo E. McKee, working for Holmes, signed some of the Fisher House drawings. McKee would later work for George W. Stoddard, Bain, Overturf, Turner and Associates and himself.

Drawings for the Orin W. Fisher House are located at the University of Washington Libraries, Department of Special Collections, Holmes Drawings Collection. Drawings were dated 06/11/1926. In 2010, the 7-bedroom, 3-bath Fisher House occupied a 18,215-square-foot (0.42-acre) lot, and had an appraised value of $4,981,000. It contained 9,180 square feet on 2 floors and a finished basement.

Renovations occurred in the house in 2002.
