Landscape architect, Thomas Church (1902-1978), collaborated with San Francisco architect Hervey Parke Clark (1899-1982) on the design of the significant Bay Region Modernist garden at the Martin House.
This weekend house stood nearby to the Dearborn Clark House by William W. Wurster (1938).
Building Notes
The photographer Maynard L. Parker (1900-1976) photographed the Charles O. Martin House for House Beautifulmagazine in 1951. (See Frances Heard, "This Living Room Stretches as Far as the Eye Can See," House Beautiful, vol. 93, 07/1951, pp. 56-57.)
