Jones Hall adjoined Sutton Quadrangle. In 2009, it accommodated the Communication Studies and Theatre Arts Departments as well as administrative offices for admission, financial aid and scholarships, university relations and the university president. The Norton Clapp Theatre occupied space on the building's second floor.
The Tacoma Art Association established the city's Art Museum in this building in 19??.
