Steadfast Companies of Irvine, CA, purchased the troubled Everett Mall next door and the shopping center site for $50.2 million in 2004. Steadfast subsequently developed this 121,557-square-foot shopping center on a 7.5 acre parcel. In 2007, the two largest buildings in the Everett Village Center had such tenants as Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Quizno's, Pet Smart, and Sleep Country USA. A Bank of America branch, built in 1979, occupied a third building on the property. SJ Realty Investments LLC bought the Everett Village Center for $21.7 million in 03/2007.
