Building Notes

Architect Dennis Erwood, Lead Architect of the Education Studio within Studio Meng Strazzara, served as Project Architect for the Robert Frost Elementary School. It won the Council of Educational Facility Planners (CEFPI), Washington Chapter, Polished Apple Award "...for its responsiveness, innovation, sustainable strategies, adaptability to future educational delivery changes, aesthetic design and community enhancement." (See "People: Leadership: Dennis Erwood AIA, LEED® AP BD+C,"Accessed 10/17/2012.) Between 1988-2012, Erwood had been involved in the planning of 50 K-12 schools and university buildings.
