Dominic Constanti financed the erection of the Liberty Theatre in 1924. Seating 900, the theatre came equipped with a stage, dressing rooms, indirect stage flood lighting, and an complex ventilation system. The building cost $70,000. Mike Barovic purchased the venue in 1939, and renamed it "Mike Barovic's Liberty Theatre."
