Building History

This first school opened by the Sisters of Holy Names was located in two rented house, c. 1880. The first year, the school instructed 21 day students, 1 boarder and 1 music student. This was the first all-girls school in Seattle, WA. It was forced to move in 1884 and then again in 1908.

Demoliition

The Holy Names Academy #1 was razed.
