The Adams School #1 opened 01/03/1910.

Architect Stephen designed this school in 1910; an two-story brick and reinforced concrete addition was made in 1971, drawn up by Stoddard and Huggard, Architects. This addition contained 20 new classrooms.

The 1910 main building was demolished in 1987.
