This school opened 09/05/2006, replacing the previous Medina Elementary School built in 1952. It was the one of several elementary schools to be renovated in the Bellevue School District utilizing money derived from a 2002 school tax levy.

This elementary school served children of some of the wealthiest families in Washington.
