An Monterey Colonial Style building, the Jose Eusebio Boronda House, Salinas, CA, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, level of significance: Local. The Boronda Adobe is a 3-room Monterey Colonial Revival building erected in the late 1840s, c. 1848. Tel: 831-757-8085 (2008).
Restoration occurred twice after 1973, once after an earthquake damaged the renovated building. The Monterey County Committee of The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in California furnished the interior with period antiques to restore the house as an historical museum in 1995.
