Building History
The Whitman College.edu website said of the Memorial Building in 2021: "Built in 1899 with a $50,000 gift from Daniel K. Pearsons, the Memorial Building was named to honor Marcus and Narcissa Prentiss Whitman. Memorial Hall housed the college's library collection from 1900 until 1934. At this time, the library moved to new quarters in Reynolds Hall.
It housed the administrative offices of Whitman College, c. 2007.
Alteration
