This Spanish Colonial Revival Style theatre opened in 12/12/1936, with a showing of the film, "Camille," and seated 809.

Originally a one-screen theatre, the plaza was divided in two before its closure as a movie venue in 1987. It was reopened in 1991 as a live performance theatre.
