After the San Francisco Earthquake and Fire of April 1906, the Van Emon Elevator Company (known until 1903 as the Electrical Engineering Company of San Francisco) moved its factory to Berkeley, CA. After 1906,the administrative offices remained in San Francisco, CA, at 42-52 Natoma Street.
