Grover Cleveland, in one of his last official acts, declared the Olympic Forest Reserve on 02/22/1897. The U.S. Congress passed H.R. 10024 establishing Olympic National Park and President Roosevelt signed it into effect, 06/29/1938. Olympic National Park has also been designated a World Heritage Park.
