This Gothic Revival building was constructed as a branch of the Young Mens' Christian Association; the University of Washington purchased it and renamed it Eagleson Hall. In 1982, the Social Work / Speech and Hearing Building was designed by architect, John Morse, on land adjoining Eagleson.
The University of Washington purchased this building in 1964.
