Building History
The 18-hole golf course at the Sunnyside Country Club was laid out by the course architect, William Bell. Bell designed Sunnyside at the beginning of his career, and went on to lay out many more in California, Arizona, Hawaii, and Oregon, including, the Adobe Course at the Arizona Biltmore (1928), Phoenix, AZ, La Jolla Country Club (1927), La Jolla, CA, and the Bel-Air Country Club (1927), Los Angeles, CA.
