The Schenck-Talmadge House was central entertaining spot for Hollywood society in the late 1920s. Joseph M. Schenck (12/25/1878-10/22/1961) was a very significant film industry executive, heading the newly formed 20th Century Fox in the 1930s. His wife, Norma Talmadge (05/26/1893-12/24/1957) was a well-known actress in the Silent Era.
