Burroughs High School is a comprehensive high school. Originally, Burroughs High was a junior high school from 1928-1947. It became a high school in 1948. The high school has a population of approximately 2340 students in grades 9 through 12, 105 faculty members, 5 administrators, and a support staff of 52, including 4 counselors, secretaries, nurses,teaching assistants,custodians, cafeteria workers, and campus supervisors.
