Building History

An article in the San Francisco Call of 11/10/1909 stated: "The St. Francis hospital company has awarded a contract for the construction of a hospital building on the northeast corner of Bush and Hyde streets on plans by Alfred I. Coffey, architect. The structure will be class A, five stories in height and with basement. It will cover the lot, which is 103x137.6 feet. Without furnishing the cost will be $154,000."
