The National Register of Places indicated in 1976 of the McCullagh-Jones House: "Original 19th C. frame farmhouse was cut in half and joined by addition of central section with front loggia, then redesigned using Mission Style elements. Home of the prominent locally prominent McCullagh and Jones families." (See William J.
