Originally designed for the student Baptist community at the University of Washington, Seattle, the university formally purchased the building for its alumni center in 1973. It occupied a prominent location just across 15th Avenue NE from the northwest corner of the campus.
R. Bronsdon Harris was nicknamed "Curly."
Its facade has been altered to erect unsuccessful signage.
