This building accommodated the offices of the University of Oregon Administration, at a time when the campus had approximately 4,000 students. Administration Hall was 105 feet by 76 feet, with a 34 by 48 foot central courtyard. Portland architect W.C. Knighton (1864-1938) designed the walls of reinforced concrete and steel, the exterior covered in red pressed brick and terra cotta.
