Building History

Osaka Sangyo University purchased the Corvallis High School property (built c. 1946) in 1989 and created a Los Angeles campus for its language school; OSULA remodeled Corvallis, added computer labs and a 120-bed student dormitory. It received its first class of students in 10/1990. The Bridges Academy, previously located in Sherman Oaks, CA, began to share space at the Osaka Sangyo University’s Studio City (OSULA) Campus. in 2005 This shared space agreement continued until 2011, when the Bridges Academy reached an understanding with OSULA to buy the property.
