Building History

San Pedro was annexed into the City of Los Angeles in stages in 1906 and 1909. Construction on this city hall began in 07/1907, as the city was being absorbed within Los Angele's sprawling city government. It served as a harbor area municipal building by 1912.

Alteration

Changes occurred to the former San Pedro City Hall in 1912. (See Southwest Contractor and Manufacturer, 06/22/1912. p. 33.)

Demolition

The San Pedro City Hall/FireStation was torn down in 1927, to make room for the new City of Los Angeles San Pedro Municipal Building, completed in 1928.
