Building History

This residence was the first collaboration between architect Charles Warren Callister, Sr., and Jack Hillmer. They designed it for a lot in Kentfiled for William Haines Hall (born 06/17/1903 in Springfield, MO-d. 08/28/1977 in Larkspur, CA), a painter and illustrator, and his wife, Betty.

Building Notes

William Haines Hall belonged to the elite Bohemian Club in San Francisco and Marin County, illustrating various publications for the group.
