The design for the courthouse was awarded to Moore Ruble Yudell, 12/1997; their 226-foot tall, nine-story design was approved, 10/1999; construction began, 04/2002 and finished 10/2005; Gruen Associates was the architect of record, while John Ruble served as the lead designer for Moore Ruble Yudell. Pamela Burton and Comapny of Santa Monica, CA, completed the landscape design. Dick Corporation/Matt Construction of Pittsburgh, PA, and Santa Fe Springs, CA, respectively, acted as General Contractors. Civil engineering was undertaken by Gianetta Engineering of Fresno.
