This was one of Saitowitz's most well-known early houses, set in the elite resort enclave of Seadrift in Stinson Beach, CA. It is distinguished by the upturned, wave-like corner of its roof. This 1,200 square-foot dwelling was one of the most-published Northern California houses of the late-1980s and early 1990s; its simplified form and materials were meant to offer a strong contrast to the couple's Queen Anne Styled main residence in San Francisco.

The Saitowitz Office website indicated that the owner's name was spelled, "MacDonald." (04/10/2006).
