Additions to the school were made in 1929 and 1955.
The Seattle School District sold the property to developers in the 1980s, who took advantage of $1.6 million in historic preservation tax credits to turn the building into 139 condominiums; it reopened as a condominium complex in 1987; work was supervised by Bumgardner Architects. This was one of the last projects done by Albert O. Bumgardner (1923-1987) before his death.
The Queen Anne High School Condominium building was renovated in 2006; After its renovation in 2006, condominiums, (presumably studios,) started at $299,950.
