Building History
Architect Lester G. Scherer (1989-1973) designed this huge, Spanish Colonial Revival residence, completed in 1927. In 2019, the house contained 13,041 square feet and 37 rooms. It had 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Scherer designed the Mead House to have a three-story bell-tower with four large bells.
