This was the first drive-in restaurant of Maurice and Richard McDonald, the originators of the McDonalds hamburger chain; it sold hot dogs, orange juice and other beverages; the McDonalds designed the restaurant based on those that they saw around them in Southern California; they later moved the Airdome to a location in San Bernadino, CA;
