In 2006, the last full year of this dealership's operation under Huling Family leadership, Buick, Pontiac, GMC, Chevrolet, Chrysler and Jeep vehicles were sold. On 01/05/2007, Steve and Tom Huling sold the verable dealership to Spokane-based Gee Automotive for $5.3 million. A later conflict arose after the sale when sales plummeted at the dealership following a notorious criminal case in which salesmen at the Huling dealership defrauded a mentally-challenged customer of $101,200. Ryan Gee sued the Hulings for failure to disclose this fraud indictment at the time of the sale. The Huling Brothers continued to own the land on Fauntleroy Way SW on which the dealership stood, further complicating the dispute, as the Gees fell behind on rent after a drastic drop in car sales.
This dealership occupied one acre of land.
Demolished to make way for the Gateway Center Mixed-Use Development, 2009-2011.
