Eric Lloyd Wright seems to have worked on this project, probably as an on-site manager for Lloyd Wright, the architect. Work was underway on 10/14/1957. A final City of Palos Verdes Estates inspection occurred on 03/18/1959.

Dr. Moore served as the owner-builder for this 8-room, 2-story residence. It had a valuation of $50,000 when built in 1959.

The Moore House was in imminent danger of being torn down 12/2010 by new owners seeking to build a new dwelling on its ocean-front site. The Moore House stands out as one of Wright's most flamboyant and impressive later works.
