The Shulman House was located in the Mount Olympus neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills.

Building History

Soriano designed this Hollywood Hills house for the noted architectural photographer, Julius Shulman, his wife, and their daughter. According to Shulman, the house and the studio were designed at the same time; he called Soriano's plan perfect and made virtually no changes over the next 50 years.

Alteration

Shulman widened the entry hall slightly to accommodate frequent visitors.
