Building History
Soriano designed this Hollywood Hills house for the noted architectural photographer, Julius Shulman, his wife, and their daughter. According to Shulman, the house and the studio were designed at the same time; he called Soriano's plan perfect and made virtually no changes over the next 50 years.
Alteration
Shulman widened the entry hall slightly to accommodate frequent visitors.
