Architect John Graham, Sr., (1873-1955) was a member of the Seattle Yacht Club in 1919, and had designed the Seattle Yacht Club #1 in West Seattle.

A fire occurred at the Seattle Yacht Club in 01/2002 causing $10 million in damage.
