This housing development occupied 152 acres formerly part of the Agnews Residential Facility until c. 2000. In 09/2009, the City of Santa Clara okayed the Master Plan for the Rivermark community. Two years later, a consortium of three development companies--Centex, Lennar and Shea-- built The Promenade by Lennar, The Greens by Lennar, The Park by Centex, The Arbors by Centex, The Glen by Shea, The Landings by Shea, and smaller complexes, Mission Terrace, 550 Moreland and Mission Gardens. Another tract, not part of the Rivermark master plan, was The Mansion Grove Apartments located on Lick Mill Drive. The master-planned developments won several industry-sponsored awards in 2003-2004, including the Grand and Merit Awards from Builder Magazine.
A residential development that contained apartments, townhouses, and high-density, single-family houses. The tract was bounded by the Montague Expressway on the south, Agnew Road (south and west), Lafayette Street (west), Hope Drive (north), and the Guadalupe River (east).
