One of the earliest houses in this area, and probably the oldest in the Rockledge Subdivision; this woodsy vacation home was property of the Hall Family who owned the land on which the subdivision was created; the property was bought by James and Josephine Ross in the late 1930s; Mr. Ross worked in the oil industry in Los Angeles, and came out to Laguna Beach only on holidays, while his wife and three sons stayed here year around;
