Building History

Architects James L. Cutler (born 1949) and Peter Q. Bohlin (born 1937) collaborated on the design of Bill Gates's House in Medina, WA. At the time of the house's construction, Gates was the world's richest man, having co-founded (with Paul Allen) the Microsoft Corporation in 1975.

Building Notes

Gates's house became a famous destination for tour boats floating by on Lake Washington. It was 48,000 square feet in size.
