Center had three main buildings: a four-story office block, a two-story apartment building, and a one-story school; the office block and apartments were joined by a glazed walkway; Gangnes used outdoor living areas in the school extensively; Skilling, Helle, Christenson, and Robertson served as structural engineers, Valentine, Fisher and Tomlinson, as mechanical and electrical engineers, and Richard Haag and Associates, Landscape Architects; James Lambert and Craig Weisman acted as food service consultants on the project; the complex opened in May 1969;
