This house received a good amount of publicity for both the architect and the builder.
Building contractor's own house; N.J. Zorich was a builder working in the Seattle area; the Zorich House was a 1,260-square-foot, split level house set on a 70-foot, sloping lot. Timber framed, it had coursed ashlar facing the exterior and some inside walls. The exposed basement housed a recreation room and was planned to allow for two additional bedrooms and a bath to be added at a future date.
