First Methodist Episcopal Church in Fullerton, CA, was an early design by Los Angeles architect, Albert Raymond Walker before his partnership with Percy A. Eisen in 1919; it follows the "Akron Plan," an organizational scheme that features a more compact semi-cicular auditorium, designed to bring parishoners closer to the pulpit; this plantype was named for a Methodist-Episcopal church in Akron, OH, designed 1866-1870, that became very influential within the denomination by 1900;
