This was a 240-student K-5 school WITH 23,000 square feet; the cost was $4.7 million; Cathy Simon was the Partner-in-Charge; Bill Bondy, AIA, Project Architect; Phred Starkweather, AIA, Doug Hoffelt, AIA, Thomas Lumikko, Michael Bautista, and Jim Koentopp, AIA, made up the Simon Martin-Vegue Winkelstein Moris project team; (after this project, Bondy and Starkweather left SMVWM to start their own firm; they, in turn, landed the commission to design a new school, the Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School, for the Mid-Peninsula Jewish Community Day School administration when it was forced to move shortly after its construction); Nishkian and Associated were the structural engineers, Guttman and Blaevoet, the mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineers, and Sandis Humber Jones, the civil engineers; CTLK acted as landscape architects; Wilson, Ihrig and Associates served as acoustical engineers, and Architectural Lighting Design supervised lighting;
